The Kambrook Essentials KSC320 is a slow cooker with a 3-litre capacity. It’s at the low end of the market retailing at $39.95.
We’ve decided to give this a test and the results are shocking.
We followed a recipe from an old cookbook, one we have used before. Cut the meat, vegetables and placed in the slow cooker at 6 am. 8 hours later and the meal was still not cooked. We actually had to transfer this to a dish and finish in the oven.
After several failed attempts at using this product and washing the unit, there appeared to be a crack in the bowl.
We’ve concluded that this product should not be sold to consumers or at least avoided. The essentials slow cooker sold at Target for $25 works better.
