It’s time to tell Howard Collins to resign

So it seems the Sydney Trains network went into meltdown this morning. That’s right about 11 hours ago.

You’d think these clueless bunch would get their shit together and recover by now, but no, here I stand on a train that does not even have a driver yet. Wow what great standards Howard Collins holds Sydney Trains to.

Town Hall station was blocked with no access into the station while thousands wait and Central Station was a mess with trains with no drivers or drivers who had no idea when to go.

It’s embarrassing to see the NSW Government invest billions of dollars in transport for NSW yet the biggest underlying problem is the pig that is Sydney Trains.

Their network design is wrong and does not allow for redundancy, why continue to invest billions into something that is wrong and has failed so many times.

It’s quite clear that a total redesign needs to happen and needs to happen now.

I can see it now, Transport for NSW just finishes spending billions of dollars, the network has a melt down yet again and then a private company launches Hyperloop to save the day.
